How to backup MySQL database in PHP?

Hello I would like to share with you a function that I use to get a MySql backup using Php.

The function is very simple to use, replace this line with your own values.

backup_tables('host','user','password','database');

When you run the file it will create a backup to the directory where it is located.

Function Parameters

  • $ host => // The first parameter is your server name (localhost, etc.)
  • $ user => // Your MySql username
  • $ pass => // MySql’s password
  • $ name => // The name of your database
  • $ tables => // This parameter defaults to * Backs up the entire database if left blank If you want to back up one or more tables, separate the table names with commas.

Click to download the file => MySql Backup using PHP

	$link = mysql_connect($host,$user,$pass);
